Terms of Service

Last updated 31 August 2026

Circle is a community of moms. Be kind, protect your kids' privacy, meet safely, and treat other members the way you'd want to be treated.

1. Agreement

These Terms form an agreement between you and Circle. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Circle.

2. Who can use Circle

You must be at least 18 years old and a parent or legal guardian, and you must use your own account. Children may not create accounts or use the app. We may refuse or close accounts that break these rules.

3. Your profile and your children's information

  • Give accurate information about yourself and keep it up to date.
  • Use a nickname for each child — never their real name — and do not post children's photos, birth dates, schools, addresses or health details.
  • Do not post information about other people's children without their consent.
  • You are responsible for the content you publish and you grant us the limited right to display it inside the app so other members can see it.

4. Community guidelines

Not allowed on Circle:

  • Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats or bullying.
  • Sexual content, nudity or contacting members for romantic or sexual purposes.
  • Impersonation, fake profiles or scraping other members' data.
  • Spam, recruitment, MLM schemes or commercial advertising outside gear listings.
  • Sharing screenshots or content from private chats and support groups.

You can report a member or a listing at any time. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

5. Meetups, playdates and events

Events and playdates are organised by members, not by Circle. We do not verify identities and we do not perform background checks. Meet in public places first, bring your own judgement, and supervise your children at all times. You attend meetups at your own risk and you are responsible for your children's safety.

6. Baby gear listings

Circle is a noticeboard: sales and giveaways happen directly between members. Describe items honestly, including wear and defects, and only list items you own and are legally allowed to sell. Do not list recalled products, car seats that have been in a crash, counterfeit goods, medicines, breast milk or anything otherwise prohibited by Swedish law. Circle does not handle payments, delivery, refunds or disputes between members.

7. Support groups are not medical care

Support groups are peer spaces for sharing experiences. Nothing in Circle is medical, psychological or legal advice, and members are not your care providers. If you need help in Sweden, contact 1177 Vårdguiden, or call 112 in an emergency.

8. Your account

Keep your login details secure and tell us if your account is compromised. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy & data. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the law, or where required to protect other members.

9. Service availability and changes

Circle is provided "as is". We may change, pause or discontinue features, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms; continuing to use Circle after they take effect means you accept them.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Circle is not liable for the conduct of other members, for transactions between members, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory Swedish law.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by Swedish law, and disputes are handled by the Swedish courts unless mandatory consumer rules say otherwise. Questions? Email hello@yourfriendsatcircle.com.

Circle is operated from Stockholm, Sweden. If you need our full company details — legal entity name, postal address and organisation number — for a formal notice, email us at the address above and we will provide them.
